How do I request an insurance quote?
You can request a quote by calling (800) 645-9949 or emailing us at info@onthemovetrucks.com.
Can I obtain insurance/license if I own my truck but do not purchase or lease from OTM?
OTM can offer you a license for insurance only which gives you access to our master policy. Our master policy insures all of our licensees under one national insurance policy and is issued by an A++ rated carrier.
Who can operate the vehicle?
Only persons over the age of 21 who have provided you with a copy of their current driver’s license and proof of insurance may operate the vehicle.
Will my vehicle be covered when it is driven to other states?
Yes. All commercial vehicles are subject to federal interstate commerce regulations. OTM suggests that you obtain a Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) number. You may familiarize yourself with the requirements at www.dot.gov/business.html.
Does the OTM insurance/license program include liability coverage and does it meet state requirements?
Yes. OTM exceeds liability limits with our $5,000,000 plan for the certificate holder and additional insured. OTM meets state requirements.
Does the OTM insurance/license program include coverage for comprehensive and collision damage and theft?
Yes. Your deductible for comprehensive and collision is $1,000. For theft, your deductible is $2,500.
Are my graphics covered?
No. However, OTM offers a graphics addendum which covers your graphics if your vehicle is involved in an accident for only $25 per month.
What is the comprehensive and collision damage limit?
Comprehensive and collision damage is covered on your vehicle up to $30,000. You may acquire additional coverage for an additional cost.
How do I pay my insurance/license fees?
OTM will invoice you monthly.
How do I report a claim?
You can report a claim at OTM’s 24 hour claim center. The phone number will be provided to you when you become a member of our fleet.
What information do I need when filing a claim?
You will need your OTM claim form, completed truck rental agreement, safety qualification forms, copy of the renter’s driver’s license, renter’s proof of insurance and police report (if applicable).
If I file a claim, will my insurance/license fees increase?
Your fees will not necessarily increase because you have become a member of our fleet. The loss/run history of the fleet dictates rates, not your personal history!
